The brand new year.

Happy New Year, everyone ! :)

My, time sure has zoomed pass. I deeply apologize for my absence for the last few months. I wish I can have my motivation back, almost seems like I've lost the determination to blog :/ Well nevertheless, I thought I'd drop by here before school starts tomorrow.

I had a pretty good holiday spent with friends & family :) A great family vacation to West Malaysia, a refreshing youth camp, a beautiful Christmas and a wonderful New Year ;) Really am grateful to God for seeing me through 2011 and I pray that 2012 will be even better ! It's going to be a tougher one definitely, with major exams coming along. But well, this is life. It's technically my LAST YEAR of high school, so i better make the best of out it ;)

So with that said, this blog will be on HIATUS in the midst of exams. I will pop by when I can, although its probably a pretty slim chance that'll happen.

Nevertheless my dear readers, have a splendid 2012 !

Like i said, i'll be back with some vintage fashion updates. I think its amazing of how you can make old-school hippy look totally fashionable :) And honestly, I think you can now spice up your mummy's 90's clothes and give it a new spin. No kidding :)

I always thought scarves are lovely. They go with anything :)
They can look casual, elegant, chic - babe, you name it ;)

Florals have now been the trend of almost everything ! :)

It's like a mash-up of a top and bottom but all in ONE !
You can always spice things up with a vintage belt ;) Works anytime.

Yes, the band is called Big Time Rush, for those who catches their tv series on Nickelodeon, you all might have seen them :) Band members are : Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan :)

They are pretty funnaaay and kinda cute at moments :) A typical pop boy band, but i can see them going far in the music industry.

Missing the times.

I think its as if when school's taken a toll on you, you seldom do stuff on cyberspace. Well, thats how i feel actually.

I've not been blogging for like a month now, not because I have nothing to blog about, just that I'm always so caught up with school work and such, I hardly have time to sit down and write a proper post.

I miss blogging, really do.

When i ever come online, its either a have to finish up a school project or when i have assignments to type. So now that the march holidays are here, I think I can actually write a nice post without much worries. But I need to go back to school tomorrow by the way, for marching practice. Competition's after the holidays, so everyone's pretty tensed up.

I really need to catch up on sleep, i miss my long afternoon naps :/ They are mostly taken up by co-curricular activities now. Being older has its perks alright, but now it seems like it has its downs too.

Life still goes on nevertheless.

You people reading this, dont be discouraged, always have a good mindset about school :) Thats how i pull through my everyday, but of course with the help of someone Greater above too ;)

Updates.

School's back ! After a week of CNY holidays.

If you ask me, it wasnt that bad really. Altho everything has probably gone back to its usual self. Still, i've gotten pretty used to it. Was planning to update you peeps bout school so far ;

Today we conducted an experiment during chemistry bout the heating and cooling curve of Naphthalene :) It was a good exposure really. Plus, I have pretty cooperative members in my group. But one thing tho ; Heated naphthalene stinks. I mean like seriously. Dont breathe in the vapour once you heated it, its poisonous. Haha, but still, I wonder how the other class managed to break 5 test tubes and almost burnt the rubbish bin while conducting the experiment :P Gotta be hilarious.

Oh and during P.E today, we did a minor practice on far jump. Hehe i think it was fun. Crystal leaped so far that everyone started calling her a cheetah :P And I do like out P.E tcher, she's really nice :)

There are lots of things lining up in the end of this month and next month.
Assesment 1. Drama Competition. English Oral Test. Marching Competition - theres probably more to the list :)

Anyways, I probably should head to bed now.

Sixteenth.

Oh yeahhh, so finally, the day has arrived :)
A beautiful day with an addition of a candle on the birthday cake :)
It was a memorable one indeed, but it def would be better if my two other lovelies - Jasmine Lim and Kimmie Tan joined the gang for lunch :) Which reminds me that we should all go on an outing when dear jasmine gets back ! Hehe :)

I missed the chance to celebrate it with my dearest friends in school tho. But really, I do thank each and every one of you who has taken the effort to wish me in every way :) Be it calls, text, facebook, inbox etc :) All of them are greatly appreciated ;)

I do pray that this year, I would not just grow more mature, but also spiritually grounded in faith. I look forward for many amazing things that will happen this year :) And I am grateful for all the things and people God has blessed me with through out the years :)

The addition.

I think its about time that i change my header picture, the number fifteen is soon coming to an end. I'm turning sixteen in another five days. And it hasn't really dawned upon me till I was writing today's date, 1/2/2010.

Well, being another older isn't always a bad thing. Though responsibilities have been taken up a notch, I think I still can cope. On a brighter note, I can drive in another year or so, haha. So being older def has its perks :)

So, wishing all soon-to-be-older people a wonderful year ahead ! :)

The latest issue of Seventeen magazine has featured lots of clothes that is currently in my To-buy list :p Let's just hope i have the time to do so. I think I'm kind of obsessed with florals right now, they're so feminine and girlish, i liikee ;) Plus, I feel like getting a new pair of flats, mine is almost worn out already i think. Hmmm, so many things, so little time :/

Hello one and all ! :)

School

Its technically the third week of school. Hahah, I'm doing my add math homework while typing this :p Anyways, i'll fill you in the details about my brand new school year :)

So, I'm in a pure science stream class :) And although I've been kind of splitted up my group of friends, I still have a few of them in the same class with me - Crystal, Li Sien, Kevin, Viknesh, Vinrea, Kah En :D OH and Muhielaan is my class monitor this year ! :P *Gush of 2Amanah memories*

And the first week of school was more of introduction to the new subjects - Physics, Chem, Bio, Add Math and stuff like that :) But today's Biology class was kinda cool. We conducted an experiment. To study and examine the structure of a plant cell and a cheek cell :) We used the epidermis of the onions and Crystal scraped off a little of her cheek cell for the experiment :P Our group managed to see the nucleus of the plant cell and AHAHAH it was fun examining Crystal's cheek cell, there were full of random laughters that came with it as usual :P

Home

It is actually a baking season at my place. My aunt came over two days ago to bake cookies for CNY. And then on Sunday, they baked fruit cake. And today, mum tried her very first attempt of baking her very own 'kuih balu' (is that how you spell it?), and the result was pretty good. Judging that it was her first try :) I'll post the pictures when I can.

Plus, I'm planning to revamp my personal notice board in my room. I want a brand new look, probably gonna tear down the old notices and paste some newer stuff on it :) I want TONS OF COLOURS on it ;)

Anyways, I think I'm a terrible dog owner. I haven't been spending much time with my poor little doggie since school started :( Hmmm, I think i will play with him this weekend *smiles at the thought* :)

So yeah, i gotta head back to work, I'll keep you peeps updated when i can :)

Hello 2011.

FINALLY 2011 HAS ARRIVED.

On a random note :

Man United vs. West Brom 2-1 right now. Lets hope ManU will win :D

Anyways, for a fresh new start, i have a few things that i wish to state out ;

Now that i'm starting form four and all, i got a feeling that i probably wont be in touch so much with my bloggie anymore. But still friends, i will try my best to update when i can :D And seriously man, like i mentioned in my previous post, my comp is seriously laggy, it needs an upgrade ! :) I'm now typing this at my aunt's place, she had a little New Year gathering at her place. With the Man-U match on the Tv screen. And my brother next to me in another laptop. What a great way to start a year man :P

Well now ive decided to type anything that comes on to my mind.

Okay so yeah, school's starting in like two days. Some part excited, im finally a senior woots :P But then again, kind dreading. Cuz everything will be taken up a notch, and new subjects coming in. Well this is life. We have to just constantly improve i guess.

Waitt, i dont get what all im typing has to do with my blog. Sorry. Side tracked.

So yeah. My blog shall be updated whenever i get my hands on the comp, bear with some picture-less posts tho, and I will probably just type things that come into my mind instantly. That way, it'll be easier for me.

Okay done.

So now lets talk about yesterday, it was watchnight service at DH. I finally received my church membership after a year since my water baptism. Sat with Nick, the Loons and Jared. Saw Bren, Lex, Ashley and a few of them singing. And I saw my youth camp roomie - Kirstine, and her cute funny little sister :P It was indeed refreshing to hear the testimonies shared during the service, wish Kimmie Tan was there to join us though. But anyhows, i do hope she had a great new year with her family :)

Oh and in case youre wondering, 360 degrees Inside Out Youth Camp was good :) I had a great time leading a Life Group alongside with Mark and Li Sha :) And the fellowship with my fellow roomies @Kimmie T, and Kirstine Andrew :) Although I wasnt feeling very well, throat infection, but still I felt God speaking to me in a very evident way. It has challenged my heart to do greater things for Him in the coming year :D

Well maybe i shall stop here right now.

So yeah, as most of us know, Uniqlo is in town. And in case you didnt know, there were like super massive long queues during the opening of the outlet. And I couldnt stand the heat waiting during the first day ; its crazy ! :/ I totally gave up. So I went for my second attempt on the 4th day and thank God the queue wasnt really that long due to a slight drizzle, so my mum, brother and I managed to get in ! YAY :)

Got myself red fleece jacket and a cream coloured heat-tech top :) I think the things there were kinda nice, most of them are very comfortable. But this season's clothing is more of winter-wear, but nevertheless still very worth the money :)

Hands on : TV Series

Hello all ! :) Today I shall talk about the TV shows that I'm getting my hands on :)

Vampire Diaries :)

I mean let's be honest. Who wouldnt drool over Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder)? :p He's such an eye candy. And somehow he has this charm although he maybe the bad guy in the series. And the super cutie Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) to keep you hooked on :) And I have friends who tells me they think Nina Dobrev who plays Elena Gilbert in the show, is HOTT :) And i gotta agree, she is pretty hot :)

I have to admit. I am a Gleek. I missed quite a lot of episodes already during PMR prep, so now, its compensation time. Gonna get my glee series from Viknesh :) He's like my movie-provider or something :p Say hello to all the glee drama and singing ! :D

The Secret Life of An American Teenager

I dont think a lot of you heard of this show. But yeah, its a pretty cool show. It relates to us teens and its a little bit dramatic at certain moments but it keeps you addicted. I've so far catched a few episodes, and yes, its pretty worth watching. :) It airs every Tues at 11pm on the Hallmark channel. But I'm not sure if it still does, its been long since I catched up with this series.

The Amazing Race

I have this thing for reality series. They are always sooo thrilling to see them go thru all those hardships just to get to their next clue :p I watch both the American one and the Asia one :) But still, its pretty hard to say whose my favourite team. I'll let you know when i'm certain :p

CSI : Miami

Yes. I love shows that solve murder crimes and stuff. I am shocked at how hi-tech the killers are nowadays, really. Freaks you out at times that these stuff happens, and people die so horribly. But its reality. We live in a cruel world. So it is an eye-opener kind of show and it never fails to have its cliff-hangers just to keep you hooked on :)

Haha this show is funny and serious at moments. But yes, I like Chuck, the computer chip guy :D And come on, Agent Sarah is pretty hot too, dont you think? :p
