Happy New Year, everyone ! :)

My, time sure has zoomed pass. I deeply apologize for my absence for the last few months. I wish I can have my motivation back, almost seems like I've lost the determination to blog :/ Well nevertheless, I thought I'd drop by here before school starts tomorrow.

I had a pretty good holiday spent with friends & family :) A great family vacation to West Malaysia, a refreshing youth camp, a beautiful Christmas and a wonderful New Year ;) Really am grateful to God for seeing me through 2011 and I pray that 2012 will be even better ! It's going to be a tougher one definitely, with major exams coming along. But well, this is life. It's technically my LAST YEAR of high school, so i better make the best of out it ;)

So with that said, this blog will be on HIATUS in the midst of exams. I will pop by when I can, although its probably a pretty slim chance that'll happen.

Nevertheless my dear readers, have a splendid 2012 !

Like i said, i'll be back with some vintage fashion updates. I think its amazing of how you can make old-school hippy look totally fashionable :) And honestly, I think you can now spice up your mummy's 90's clothes and give it a new spin. No kidding :)

I always thought scarves are lovely. They go with anything :)
They can look casual, elegant, chic - babe, you name it ;)

Florals have now been the trend of almost everything ! :)

Another fashionable item is the Romper/Jumpsuit :)
It's like a mash-up of a top and bottom but all in ONE !
You can always spice things up with a vintage belt ;) Works anytime.

Yes, the band is called Big Time Rush, for those who catches their tv series on Nickelodeon, you all might have seen them :) Band members are : Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan :)

They are pretty funnaaay and kinda cute at moments :) A typical pop boy band, but i can see them going far in the music industry.

I think its as if when school's taken a toll on you, you seldom do stuff on cyberspace. Well, thats how i feel actually.

I've not been blogging for like a month now, not because I have nothing to blog about, just that I'm always so caught up with school work and such, I hardly have time to sit down and write a proper post.

I miss blogging, really do.

When i ever come online, its either a have to finish up a school project or when i have assignments to type. So now that the march holidays are here, I think I can actually write a nice post without much worries. But I need to go back to school tomorrow by the way, for marching practice. Competition's after the holidays, so everyone's pretty tensed up.

I really need to catch up on sleep, i miss my long afternoon naps :/ They are mostly taken up by co-curricular activities now. Being older has its perks alright, but now it seems like it has its downs too.

Life still goes on nevertheless.

You people reading this, dont be discouraged, always have a good mindset about school :) Thats how i pull through my everyday, but of course with the help of someone Greater above too ;)

School's back ! After a week of CNY holidays.

If you ask me, it wasnt that bad really. Altho everything has probably gone back to its usual self. Still, i've gotten pretty used to it. Was planning to update you peeps bout school so far ;

Today we conducted an experiment during chemistry bout the heating and cooling curve of Naphthalene :) It was a good exposure really. Plus, I have pretty cooperative members in my group. But one thing tho ; Heated naphthalene stinks. I mean like seriously. Dont breathe in the vapour once you heated it, its poisonous. Haha, but still, I wonder how the other class managed to break 5 test tubes and almost burnt the rubbish bin while conducting the experiment :P Gotta be hilarious.

Oh and during P.E today, we did a minor practice on far jump. Hehe i think it was fun. Crystal leaped so far that everyone started calling her a cheetah :P And I do like out P.E tcher, she's really nice :)

There are lots of things lining up in the end of this month and next month.
Assesment 1. Drama Competition. English Oral Test. Marching Competition - theres probably more to the list :)

Anyways, I probably should head to bed now.

Oh yeahhh, so finally, the day has arrived :)
A beautiful day with an addition of a candle on the birthday cake :)
It was a memorable one indeed, but it def would be better if my two other lovelies - Jasmine Lim and Kimmie Tan joined the gang for lunch :) Which reminds me that we should all go on an outing when dear jasmine gets back ! Hehe :)

I missed the chance to celebrate it with my dearest friends in school tho. But really, I do thank each and every one of you who has taken the effort to wish me in every way :) Be it calls, text, facebook, inbox etc :) All of them are greatly appreciated ;)

I do pray that this year, I would not just grow more mature, but also spiritually grounded in faith. I look forward for many amazing things that will happen this year :) And I am grateful for all the things and people God has blessed me with through out the years :)

I think its about time that i change my header picture, the number fifteen is soon coming to an end. I'm turning sixteen in another five days. And it hasn't really dawned upon me till I was writing today's date, 1/2/2010.

Well, being another older isn't always a bad thing. Though responsibilities have been taken up a notch, I think I still can cope. On a brighter note, I can drive in another year or so, haha. So being older def has its perks :)

So, wishing all soon-to-be-older people a wonderful year ahead ! :)

Hmmm, so many things, so little time :/

Hello one and all ! :)

School

Its technically the third week of school. Hahah, I'm doing my add math homework while typing this :p Anyways, i'll fill you in the details about my brand new school year :)

So, I'm in a pure science stream class :) And although I've been kind of splitted up my group of friends, I still have a few of them in the same class with me - Crystal, Li Sien, Kevin, Viknesh, Vinrea, Kah En :D OH and Muhielaan is my class monitor this year ! :P *Gush of 2Amanah memories*

And the first week of school was more of introduction to the new subjects - Physics, Chem, Bio, Add Math and stuff like that :) But today's Biology class was kinda cool. We conducted an experiment. To study and examine the structure of a plant cell and a cheek cell :) We used the epidermis of the onions and Crystal scraped off a little of her cheek cell for the experiment :P Our group managed to see the nucleus of the plant cell and AHAHAH it was fun examining Crystal's cheek cell, there were full of random laughters that came with it as usual :P

Home

It is actually a baking season at my place. My aunt came over two days ago to bake cookies for CNY. And then on Sunday, they baked fruit cake. And today, mum tried her very first attempt of baking her very own 'kuih balu' (is that how you spell it?), and the result was pretty good. Judging that it was her first try :) I'll post the pictures when I can.

Plus, I'm planning to revamp my personal notice board in my room. I want a brand new look, probably gonna tear down the old notices and paste some newer stuff on it :) I want TONS OF COLOURS on it ;)

Anyways, I think I'm a terrible dog owner. I haven't been spending much time with my poor little doggie since school started :( Hmmm, I think i will play with him this weekend *smiles at the thought* :)

So yeah, i gotta head back to work, I'll keep you peeps updated when i can :)

FINALLY 2011 HAS ARRIVED.

On a random note :

Man United vs. West Brom 2-1 right now. Lets hope ManU will win :D

Anyways, for a fresh new start, i have a few things that i wish to state out ;

Now that i'm starting form four and all, i got a feeling that i probably wont be in touch so much with my bloggie anymore. But still friends, i will try my best to update when i can :D And seriously man, like i mentioned in my previous post, my comp is seriously laggy, it needs an upgrade ! :) I'm now typing this at my aunt's place, she had a little New Year gathering at her place. With the Man-U match on the Tv screen. And my brother next to me in another laptop. What a great way to start a year man :P

Well now ive decided to type anything that comes on to my mind.

Okay so yeah, school's starting in like two days. Some part excited, im finally a senior woots :P But then again, kind dreading. Cuz everything will be taken up a notch, and new subjects coming in. Well this is life. We have to just constantly improve i guess.

Waitt, i dont get what all im typing has to do with my blog. Sorry. Side tracked.

So yeah. My blog shall be updated whenever i get my hands on the comp, bear with some picture-less posts tho, and I will probably just type things that come into my mind instantly. That way, it'll be easier for me.

Okay done.

So now lets talk about yesterday, it was watchnight service at DH. I finally received my church membership after a year since my water baptism. Sat with Nick, the Loons and Jared. Saw Bren, Lex, Ashley and a few of them singing. And I saw my youth camp roomie - Kirstine, and her cute funny little sister :P It was indeed refreshing to hear the testimonies shared during the service, wish Kimmie Tan was there to join us though. But anyhows, i do hope she had a great new year with her family :)

Oh and in case youre wondering, 360 degrees Inside Out Youth Camp was good :) I had a great time leading a Life Group alongside with Mark and Li Sha :) And the fellowship with my fellow roomies @Kimmie T, and Kirstine Andrew :) Although I wasnt feeling very well, throat infection, but still I felt God speaking to me in a very evident way. It has challenged my heart to do greater things for Him in the coming year :D

Well maybe i shall stop here right now.

I skyped them today, or more like I manage to JOIN them on skype today ; and all our funny/lame/random/silly/serious statements in our conversations really made my day :) I was laughing and giggling at myself in front of the comp, and my mum who was cleaning the kitchen couldn't help but wonder what has gone wrong with her daughter :P

So yeah, as most of us know, Uniqlo is in town. And in case you didnt know, there were like super massive long queues during the opening of the outlet. And I couldnt stand the heat waiting during the first day ; its crazy ! :/ I totally gave up. So I went for my second attempt on the 4th day and thank God the queue wasnt really that long due to a slight drizzle, so my mum, brother and I managed to get in ! YAY :)

Got myself red fleece jacket and a cream coloured heat-tech top :) I think the things there were kinda nice, most of them are very comfortable. But this season's clothing is more of winter-wear, but nevertheless still very worth the money :)

Hello all ! :) Today I shall talk about the TV shows that I'm getting my hands on :)

Vampire Diaries :)

I mean let's be honest. Who wouldnt drool over Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder)? :p He's such an eye candy. And somehow he has this charm although he maybe the bad guy in the series. And the super cutie Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) to keep you hooked on :) And I have friends who tells me they think Nina Dobrev who plays Elena Gilbert in the show, is HOTT :) And i gotta agree, she is pretty hot :)

I have to admit. I am a Gleek. I missed quite a lot of episodes already during PMR prep, so now, its compensation time. Gonna get my glee series from Viknesh :) He's like my movie-provider or something :p Say hello to all the glee drama and singing ! :D

The Secret Life of An American Teenager

I dont think a lot of you heard of this show. But yeah, its a pretty cool show. It relates to us teens and its a little bit dramatic at certain moments but it keeps you addicted. I've so far catched a few episodes, and yes, its pretty worth watching. :) It airs every Tues at 11pm on the Hallmark channel. But I'm not sure if it still does, its been long since I catched up with this series.

The Amazing Race

I have this thing for reality series. They are always sooo thrilling to see them go thru all those hardships just to get to their next clue :p I watch both the American one and the Asia one :) But still, its pretty hard to say whose my favourite team. I'll let you know when i'm certain :p

CSI : Miami

CSI : New York

Yes. I love shows that solve murder crimes and stuff. I am shocked at how hi-tech the killers are nowadays, really. Freaks you out at times that these stuff happens, and people die so horribly. But its reality. We live in a cruel world. So it is an eye-opener kind of show and it never fails to have its cliff-hangers just to keep you hooked on :)

Haha this show is funny and serious at moments. But yes, I like Chuck, the computer chip guy :D And come on, Agent Sarah is pretty hot too, dont you think? :p

Yes. Now that I'm quite free after pmr, I decided to read tad bit more than usual. I shall share with you some books that I'm having my hands on now :)

Katherine Applegate - Spring Break
Its a continuation of the Beach Blondes and Tan Lines series. It's a nice beach-y, summer-ish kind of novel :) I just finished the book two days ago, it is pretty short and compact compared to the previous two books. But nevertheless, a good one :)

Darren Shan - Vampire Blood Trilogy
Yesss, I borrowed this book (for quite a long time already) from my dear Kimmie Tan and now I am reading it halfway still. I am determined to give it back to her before the holidays :)
I like the spider, Madam Octa :p Well, you wont know what I'm talking about if you haven't read it yet. Hee, and turns out my cousin nephew is a die-hard fan of Darren Shan and I didnt know till recently. He finished all of Darren's books. AMAZING.

Cecelia Ahern - Thanks for the memories
I have read half way of this book already, I realise I always read things halfway and put it aside. But really, this book is kind of touching really. It revolves around two people who dont know each other, a girl named Joyce having to carry on with her life after a miscarriage, and an Art Lecturer named Justin who is lonely and divorced. Somehow these two people had a strong sense of deja vu as if they have met before and somehow they feel connected. It's really cool how Cecelia manage to be so creative in her writing and all. But really, no point me telling you this if you dont check it out yourself :)

Cecelia Ahern - The Gift
I havent started on this one yet though, but it looks like it has a pretty good story plot :) "An enchanting and thoughtful Christmas story that speaks to all of us about the value of time and what is truly important in life." Thats what she wrote in the summary behind the book :)

So yeah next up I shall be talking on movies I'm putting my hands on :)

UNIQLO IS OPENING IN KL ON NOVEMBER ! :)

Yes peeps, it will have it's very FIRST branch in Fahrenheit 88 Shopping Complex (opposite Pavillion KL) sooooon ! Well, I was first introduced to this Japanese brand by my dear friend, Jasmine Lim when I went shopping with her in Singapore early this June. I bought a trademark tee with her and yes, i love the fabric used for the shirt. Very comfy :)

So, i most definitely will go there to shop once its opened ! Heard there are only very limited branches of Uniqlo. If not mistaken there's only one in Tokyo, one in S'pore and now one in M'sia :) So count us lucky, teehee :p

Hello, you ! Yes as you can see on the above picture, i can SMELL freedom :) Well not literally. But i got sort of excited and stuff, I actually made a little POST PMR TO-DO LIST :p Random, i know. *Grins and points at the photo below*

Anyways, mum brought me to Empire Shopping Gallery after my last paper on Tuesday for a little celebration :) We did a little shopping, and then settled at Ole Ole Bali for dinner. Well, mum was clearly attracted by the beautiful furnishings and lightings of the restaurant. It resembles Bali a lot, the atmosphere and all. Like you're off to some island for Indonesian food or something :p

And yes, a recommended dish. Their SATAY. Gosh, it tastes SO good, instead of satay in a toothpick-like stick, they wrap the satay with Serai which makes it taste extra good :D

I seriously love the ambiance of the place, the meal there was yummy and pretty worth the money. Try their 'Siap Bumbu' dish, the dish consists of their Indonesian-style cooked french beans, rice, marinated chicken with lemon grass, fried keropok and their sambal. It might remind you a little bit of our Malaysian Nasi Lemak, but believe me, it tastes wayyy better! :D It tastes more exotic. Mum said it tastes better than the time she ate at Bali :p Maybe she exaggerated a little.

Haha i sound like i work for Asian Food Channel or something :p

Had a great time with the Board of Directors, perfomers, participants frm both SAB and MBS :) And we managed to collect funds for the Polio Foundation of Africa prior to out theme HUGA HUGA AFRICA :) It is indeed meaningful that we can lend a helping hand to people in the world that are in need :)

Hello again ! :) As promised in the previous post, there are some pictures uploaded here :)
Just a little recap on the 4th of July. The week my church had a service in Sime Darby Convention Centre. Haha sorry for the late update you guys, I've not been in touch with my laptop much these days.

I didnt take pics in the Convention Centre ! Super bummer :S
Was really caught up with worship leading and all. p/s : Thanks kimmie for helping and Bren for the planning :) Had lunch with mum after the serv at one of the japanese restaurants :)

Later that day, after tuition, Nick and I did a little Stationery Shopping ! :)
I bought some stuff to touch-up my really worn-out Bible !

Steps to play HANDMINTON :)

1. Scrunch up a piece of rough/unwanted paper into a ball shape.
2. Start passing the paper ball to your opponent just like how you would when playing badminton.
3. But the rule is to use your HAND instead of a racquet

We use our hands instead of a racquet, hence the name Handminton :D

It feels good to be typing again :) I took Jasmine's advice to UNPLUG for a few days, but no worries, I'm back in the blogging world once again ! Just a little recap of Wednesday's cooking competition :) It was pretty fun, despite the slightly cloudy weather. We cooked cheese macaroni, chicken soup, fruit salad, cracker with egg and salad and our little icecream soda + ribena drink :)

Was glad out members cooperated and help out :) I could tell Eunis put loads of effort to make everything work out perfectly. I'm glad to be her group :)

Yes, the picture above is just to remind all of you that SCHOOL is starting tmr. Something that most of us pretty much dread, but yet at the same time love IF there is no homework and such :P

I feel so spiritually refreshed after camp. Dr Rajan was good, his preaching was very powerful. :) Pastor Prince's sermon was interesting, he talked about reinventing self and he related it to different kinds of birds and that we should be like the eagle who knows how to reinvent itself and all :) Had a great time with friends, the late-night chats, the sauna gossips, the jazz exercising, the gym work out session. All in all, it was cooool :) Do hope our next camp is by the beach so we can have some fun under the sun ! Heee :)

After camp, family and I drove down to Singapore. The S'pore trip was mostly bout shopping ! Cotton On, Forever 21, Nike, Adidas, Uniqlo, Rubi - you name it ! :D Not much sight seeing, but I managed to meet up with Jasmine Lim and her siblings. Met up with Alex in Orchard for a little while. But yeah, I do hope for more trips down south. I have YET to visit lots of places ! Oh and I think i sort of like the MRT now, its quite convenient and good thing is, its really clean. M'sia should learn something frm them :P

Last week, my cousins and my aunt were in town, they stayed over our place for a few days. Grandma was with us tooo :) Cousin Jolene is going to deliver her child in another couple of months so she came down KL to visit us and at the same time, do a little of baby shopping :)

We went to Babylove where they sell the cutest baby stuff ever ! The baby bath tub, baby clothes, mittens and socks :) All soooo tiny and cute ;)

The next day we went out and did a little shopping in The Mines. While the guys went to check out some computer gadgets stuff, we ladies did a little shoe shopping ! Hee :)

Then on that very same day, they went home. They just stayed for a short 3 1/2 day trip :) Am missing them already :/ Hope to seee them soon. Oh and I miss grandma's dumplings the most :/ But on a lighter note, I'm going Family Camp next weeeeek, at least I have something to look forward to ! :)

School ;

We sang See Kee a big fat birthday song during recess today, she blushed soooo hard, hee :) But the good part is, she loved our prezzies ! :)

I was the 'mail lady' today after science period, everybody was rushing home while I had to go back to class to pack my stuff. So all these LAZYBUMS made me carry their science books back to their drawers. Up the THREE floors. Plus, I was carrying my KH wood and my one ton file :P Hee, but look at the brightside ; I CAN HELP BUILD MY HAND MUSCLES *self consoling* :P

I sorta regretted I skipped school yesterday. I heard there was a massive Tchers Day Celebration at school and some of them said it was the coolest tcher's day celebration ever. :(

I'm really stressed out by all the stupid folios and assignments we have to finish. ALL the deadlines are so close PLUS exam is just around the corner. I THOUGHT I could finish them up during the hols ; well no such luck ; most of the tchers want it BEFORE the hols. :(

Chinese exam is tmrr ; pray for me pls :D

Home ;

Grandma is in town, she rarely comes down to KL so we're glad she's around. She'll be staying here for another 2 weeks, till cousin Jol comes down to pick her up :) I hope she doesnt get too bored here cuz all she does is eat, sleep and watch chinese drama. (Cuz Nick and I are at school)

Nick is having a slight leg injury :( He fell from football practise the other day. Both his right and left leg really hurts. Do keep him in prayer to those who are reading this ; thanks ! :)

I think I'm a terrible dog owner, I realised I havent been spending enough time with Chunky and I feeeel super bad about it :/ But now with exams and such, I dont really have the time. But still, I'll make it up to him sometime, hmm this weekend maybe. Hope he doesnt hate me for that. :/

In the morning, my family and I headed to the nursery. NO, not children nursery, but the PLANT nursery to get some plants and decos for our garden :) Did i mention that nurseries are so pretty, filled with pretty flowers and greeneries? :) Snapped some photos ;

Then, later in the evening, after youth, we headed to Couz Marine's place. It's her baby, Amanda's 1st birthday :) It was a pretty grand party for a one year old baby. Well, enough of cars. Move on to something most of us can relate to - phones :) Lately, I'm checking out on different type of touchscreen phones and some of these caught my eye ;

My friend bought it recently, the camera is 8 megapixel which is like superb clear :) I haven't actually got a chance to get hold of the phone yet, probably will when i get to check out my friend's vivaz and i'll give you the full report :)

We had our Majlis Orientasi yesterday at the hall. And us form three, came up with a sketch entitled 'Love Story'. So, the plot evolves around students from two different schools having a prom together. So, we had to dance the waltz :)

I played a guy role, which turned out to be pretty fun. I danced with my partner, Yuve and must i say we make a pretty good couple :P I borrowed Viknesh's formal shirt, my mum's girl slacks and Nick's tie and Crystal Gan's and Brandon's hat for the performance :) Well, I thought I wouldnt look like a guy at all since I have long hair and stuff, BUT somehow I managed to pull it off :D And I'm pretty proud of myself :))

I dont have the pictures with me YET (its with missy seekee), she said she would send to me when she comes online (ahem i wonder when :P), and i CANT WAIT to show you guys how MACHO i look in my clothes, hehe :) So for now, i shall leave you all with the suspense.

One thing that my friend said to me after my performance that MIGHT sound quite perasan but still it made my day ; "So vick, now you look hot not just when you're a girl, but also when you're a guy." She doesnt mean that I'm bisexual, PLEASE. She's just saying i look good both ways, awwww :))

Yes, sorry for not updating much nowadays but since my red phone was unfunctionable for sometime, i haven't been able to take photos n stuff..

BUT GUESS WHAT .

My babyredphonie is BACK :D Yes, rmber the phone guy told me to leave it there for a week and then try it again? I actually followed what he said. And on saturday night, i prayed before i tried switching it on and IT WORKED ! :)))) Judging on how it looked last week, it wouldnt have worked, amazing! Still, thankyou loads for those people who kept my phone in prayer, truly God is a prayer-answering God ;)

So anyway, my bro got himself an electric guitar on saturday when we went MV after youth. He was really thankful mum finally relented after his long wait of getting one :) He practised a lot these few days, brushing up his skills n stuff. Well, hope this enthusiasm of his will last long enough.

And i missed sportsday. I heard from viknesh the attendance was pretty terrible :/ I hope they dont punish us or what not for not attending, like how scary vik described it would be. :S

There are like super people around me while I'm typing this, and they're singing some REALLY WEIRD songs, wrecking ma nerves seriously. Btw, we played CLUEDO just now, it took us like an hour and a half to finish one game ! AND big nose kevin gan won, was a super unfair thing ! HE BOUGHT AKMAL BAKAR as his "spy player". So i dont care, i'm buying that fella in the next round :D OH and if viknesh comes back after rehearsal, im buying him as well :D p/s : THANKS to wong for sharing his answers :P

As you can see from the title above, i'm probably in a quite pissy mood. And yes, i am. Oh and dont ask what happened. Blame my carelessness for that. Just as much as I wanna console myself by hoping i might get a new phone, I think my mum isnt too happy about it and partly I dont think I wanna burn their money just like that.

I went to the phoneshop and told the phone guy bout my problem. He said not to switch my phone on till all the water in the screen or other parts of the phone had dried up which he assumed would be approximately a week. If it still doesnt work, it might have been fully damaged internally. :/ That thought sucks, living without my music playlist, phone camera, some contacts missing (which are not in the simcard) for like a week. Even worse if it doesnt recover, i might hafta wait till i get a new phone :S

I might use a spare phone in the meantime, but it has no credit now. Just call me or leave me a msg in msn or whatever if its urgent. I hate to go thru all these trouble guys, but seriously sorry.

p/s : Thanks for all the kind souls who are keeping my phone in prayer and to those who tried fixing it during youth just now :)
p/s 2 : I think this is the BEST time to do my 15day journal that Lisha asked us to do, now that i have no phone distractions. (Looking at the bright side of things)

Yeap, its American Idol season and all again.
So, it is already top ten week for some of you who din know.
AND well, it's not THAT exhilarating for me this season, probably cuz I always miss one week or two out, plus the contestants this year dont really wow me so much with their vocals. BUT STILL, i have loads of my own opinions and I thought why not express it in my blog :D

SO, the beauty-face officially got voted OUT.
I used to be a HUGE fan of hers cuz I always thought she had a look that resembles Taylor Swift :) But the again, I superr love-d her (notice the 'ed') during Hollywood week when she sang 'Terrified' by Kara D. and then slowly her choice of music sort of altered and I changed my mind of liking her. Well, she went out this week . Presenting DIDI BENAMI ;

I knew she would get voted out sooner or later but I didnt expect her to go out BEFORE Tim. Oh well. Byebye Didi ! I will miss your pretty face :P

Tim Urban.

I dont know man (Sorry T.U fans) but seriously I dont like this guy, he's just a so-so for me and I've been waiting for him to get out really soon but somehow someway her never does. Well, we ALL know what caused him to stay : His really cute face and his really cute smile FULLSTOP. I dont think he has really awesome vocals, but probably awesome enuf to keep the crazy girls drooling :P

Aaron Kelly.

Otherwise known as 'mini resemblence of David Archuletta.' He's a nice guy, his singing is pretty consistent so I have nothing much to comment on him. His interpretation of 'I dont wanna miss a thing' is alright but I preferred the one David Cook sang during season 7 more. Plus point is that, he's really innocent-looking and something tells me that America kinda loves him and maybe he can still stay on quite awhile.

Michael Lynche aka Big Mike.

This dude here has a big personality, a big voice well I think nearly everything of him comes in large sizes. No offence or anything. I have a lot of friends who likes him and I dont blame them cuz honestly, he has a good voice. Probably not so much of the X factor or the style, he's okay overall.

Katie Stevens.

Regina likes this girl :P To me, she's fine. She has the sweet kind of look that I think a lot of people will like. I think her interpretation of Fergie's 'Big Girls Dont Cry' was okay though I still prefer the ori. I agree with Kara that she is the R & B kind of artist, but I dont totally disagree with Simon either, i think she can sing country as well :)

Andrew Garcia.

This guy has a touching life story. He sings well, plays well in his guitar. And did a fantastic job with Paula Abdul's 'Straight Up' and also Chris Brown's 'Forever' acoustic version :) He doesnt really have the "swagger" like *points at below pic*, but I feel a lot of people still like him.

Casey James.

He is an eye candy. I would say a lot of girls will drool over him cuz he just has this.. thing in him. I dont know about other girls, but I call it charisma. Haha. Vocals wise, I think he still has a lot of room for improvement. His voice doesnt blow me off, his guitar playing does. :P

Well after all that talk, let me just get straight to my favourite few okay.
I know NOT everyone will AGREE with the contestants I like but lemme share a few that stands out to me ;

Siobhan Magnus.

I mean just look at her name. It's unique enough and probably some of you dont even know how to pronounce it. Well, this girl here has MAD VOCAL PIPES i tell you. She yells like crap and still stays in tune most of the time :) Some people might think she's a little weird, and I sort of agree to that but hmm let me put it this way. She's weirdly-likable ;)

AHAH another fav :
Crystal Bowersox aka Mama sox. :)

One thing I REALLY like about her is that she appears to be very genuine, real and her personality shows. She is very talented and she rocks in guitar. She always has suprises and keeps her performances very fresh, and that's probably why the audience are longing for more of her ;)

Well with all the sound effects, you would know that I really like this guy huh :P Lemme just quote something Simon Cowell commented on his 'Treat her like a lady' performance : " This is the night that your life may have changed forever" because truly he did really well and is probably one of the strongest contestants competing. But i wouldnt say he's perfect, because he isn't. I think he lacks a little bit of 'star personality' but I'm sure it will slowly built up when he heads for the top five maybe? Haha lets hope :)

Thats about all, I might change my mind about them later, I'll keep you posted ;)

At last, today was competition day. We were nervous but at the same time, excited. I believed we did our very best. We (the girls squad) came in fourth among nine groups, while the guys squad came in fifth :) Well, whatever mistakes we made during the competition are now like what Xian Jin said, "History." So, don't be sad, girls. Rmber GRRR/GIRL all the way ! =)

p/s : We still should be happy our boys squad manage to get in Zon Pudu from what i heard. ~~after all these years~~ :D Congrats guys, do us proud :)

Oh and congrats to KRS, Rangers and Kadet Polis who came in first, second and third respectively :) And thank God for answering prayers, we had good weather today :) OH and one last thing ; WE STILL LOVE SABRINA HOONG A LOT ! :D She is a great leader i would say, a cute one also :P

Lastly, we love PBSM to the core ! :D

Hello world !
I decided to WRITE today, instead of posting pictures. Well, i went marching practise today at school frm 8-12 :) It was good, i managed to get the formation fully memorised in my head thanks to really kind team members for their constant reminders :)

Chris and H.Keen came back today to see us, was good to see them. =) Well, I am truly thankful to God that I am able to join the squad this year, although a lot of sacrifices had to be made. I started joining marching like two weeks ago cuz Rocyie had some skin problem and I substituted her. Although I know my mum wasn't too happy about it at first (she thinks I have poor time management) and stuff got pretty tense, I am glad its almost nearing competition now, and now its just days before the competition, I ~~think~~ hope she doesnt mine :)

Well, any ex-AJKS of PBSM or any kind soul who are reading this, do pray for us. Do pray for good health, teamwork and good memory to recall all that we've learnt. Starting when I just came in the squad two weeks ago, they were done with the formation and I was the blur case one who had to start from scratch. I always prayed before I went for practises, I knew I couldn't do it alone and truly God is a God who answers prayers. :)

Just a few more days to go, competition's on Wednesday !

I've always wanted this camera, but i started to like it more after
Aisyah and Najwa showed us the p.point presentation on
Cameras during Computer class.
That was when the crave grew even stronger :P

It takes instant photos so you dont have to like send it to the studio to develope it :)

THE OTHER thing i wanna add as well is ;

A LOMO CAMERA !

It's a camera that takes pictures from a diff perspective,
it plays around with the lights, and makes
blemishes in photos look BEAUTIFUL :)

Yesterday, i was on my way back to KL from Taiping.
So i was in the car with my family.
But then, i had this sudden hype to call up the radio station and request for a song.
I was tuning on FLYFM and it was the
Night Flight so the radio announcers were Hafiz and Basil.
So i just took my phone and dialled the number.
AND TO MY SURPRISE, they actually picked up!

Memorable fifteenth :)

I had a wonderful fifteenth birthday, thanks to my friends and family :) I had school on that day, which AT FIRST i thought was kinda sucky :P But now to think back, it was fun :) I celebrated at school which a whole bunch of schoolmates. Then, my friends and i had lunch at Jusco KFC. And then, nick and i went youth together. (Thankyou peeps for the bday song and prayers) After youth, i went to The Curve for dinner with my family. It was a rather exhausting day, but worth while =)

HELLO OH READERS OF MINE :)
I sincerely apologise for my long absence in this blog :S In case you din know, i couldnt log on to the internet for weeks. But surprisingly msn was unaffected. Well, the CAUSE of this is, my computer kena VIRUS ! So yeah anyway, i think i should make it up to you all by updating you people on basically everything you missed out ! Well, PMR intervention is on the 21st Jan. So yeah, i cant wait till its over before i get my hands on my novels again :)

School has reopened, peeps :)
Well i was dreading at first but now i think my new class isnt that bad x) In case you din know, im in 3 Hemah this year. The teacher reshuffled us into different classes. I think mainly cause they want us to break away from our cliques. Oh well. But of course, i do miss my Amanahtanzas (thats what we call ourselves) a lot in fact !
